Masahiko is a digital printmaker and illustrator who has recently published more than fifty bird prints. His choice of bird subject was influenced by the work of the innovative 18th century artist Jakuchū Itō who specialized in painting domestic fowl. Masahiko’s depiction of domestic fowl and the mythical hō-ō bird is equally novel. Ten of his prints are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
